Wow ! Have I got my mojo back !

I have felt so creative the last few weeks I'm shocked at how much I have achieved .

Even sewing ....look !

This is Peggy, my no pattern and see what happens peg bag ....erm ? Cat lol. Her face and name are made using iron on transfer material ...ain't she cute ? The fabric is from a huge roll I bought on ebay years ago, I made 2 sets of curtains and ties, three tablecloths, numerous napkins and now Peggy, I reckon there is still 20 metres left and it only cost me a tenner !!!!

My version of the three fold suit card, no pattern just a little help from my ultimate pro board and a little 3d imagination :)

A card that I don't remember the name of but has a lot of folds ;) I even used my Cameo to cut out the pieces ....did I tell you I love my Cameo <3

A wedding card that is made 90% with my cameo! I did redesign the heart to fit Mr & Mrs in which wasn't difficult but rather Fiddley, the best thing is I can then save it for use another time without any fiddling required, I added the flowers and butterflies to the same page so if I want to repeat it I just send to silhouette and Bingo all ready cut and ready to stick on my card stock :)

My favourite and last for today, A cute image from the Angelica & Adam CD from Crafters Companion I chose one to colour in with my spectrum noir pens and I really enjoyed my afternoon colouring ( I did a few others at the same time :) )

So you see....major mojo and loving it ! Shame about the mess :/

Today Nigel has nominated me for a baking session with him, although he's making bread just now so I'm sat waiting ( I think he's missing me really, but then with being back at work and then chilling with my crafts I think I should spend some quality time with him<3 )

Being back at work went easier than I thought, not as much pain as I expected but boy am I tired :(

Loving being back to normal though it was just what I needed cos I was going stir crazy !

Insomnia !

Well it's 3am and I just can't sleep. I'm not sure why unless it is anxiety, I have a Colonoscopy on Monday and tomorrow is the day for starving and taking the horrible bowel prep :( 

I think I'll change the subject now lol. Here's the one I made for my mum for Mother's Day :)

I've been moving things around here, we are now officially in Tiffs old room and the front bedroom is gradually getting cleared out to make room for my craft stuff :) I got an amazing stand for my 12x12 papers given from a lovely lady on facebook 

I thought I had a pic on here but I haven't, oh well I'll take a look later.    

Nigel is doing well after his knee op, will be glad when he's driving again cos I hate going to work on the bus :(.

I did my first nightshift since October the other night and did surprisingly well, we weren't too busy which helped :)

Well I guess I should try get some sleep g'dnight y'all xxx

The day of the Cameo

Well I was going to make a page dedicated to my Silhouette Cameo but editing and adding pictures was becoming a nightmare so will leave that on Pinterest.
Well it arrived today and I have had a play, the black vinyl was perfect to make Snoopy decals for my phone and Ipad, I think I'm in love !!!

Daniel came round with his family as it was his birthday, we had a nice takeaway but I feel a real pig now, I think I was starting to lose a little weight too ..... Not much but every little helps, it's real frustrating when you reduce your calorie intake, take regular exersize and you watch the weight go up not down :(
Vikki brought some cake for after tea and I made some chocolate mice for my two favourite little people :) Oh and I made some chocolate buttons too, ya know sometimes I wonder how I find time for anything with all these hobbies :)

I am not sure why Blogger doesn't let me upload pictures for you from my I pad but I had a few for today, I'll have to edit it later and share the pictures from my phone :)

Work again for me tomorrow :/ hope Nigel will be ok home alone cos Nathan is going to Bradford for a few days. I'm doing a 2 til 8 so I also hope I'll be ok with a few extra hours :/. I would much rather be home playing with my new toy !

I better get some sleep , night night xx

Spring has Sprung !

... And I'm loving it, you can't beat a bit of sunshine to make you feel good.

My baby girl moved out last week made her room look like we had been burgled :(

I forgot she had a floor !!

Anyway the new bed arrived today so it is totally transformed 

Getting all ready to transform my room into a guest/ craft room. Already started by ordering a Silhouette Cameo and also had a 12x12 storage unit offered, waiting for both delivering :)

My big boy is 27 tomorrow, boy I feel old , shame I'm not old enough to retire yet !!!

Nigel had his knee replacement last week so we have a bit of a reversal of roles now, he's resting and I'm looking after him, I don't mind though cos I don't think I would have survived without him after my ops :)

I am thinking of making part of my blog dedicated to my silhouette but not sure how to do it while I'm on the ipad so watch this space you never know I may manage it once I get back on the laptop.

Going back to work wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was tired but not in pain, I am feeling so blessed to have such great work colleagues <3

My Little girl is all grown up :/

Yep, it's Tiffany's 19th birthday today, why do kids have to grow so fast and make you feel so old ? She's fleeing the nest next week too , back to Bradford to live with her bf's family so gonna be a male dominated household until Nathan moves out :(

We made a fridge cake yesterday following a recipe from an old Red Nose Day cookbook, very nice it is too ...It has cherries and raisins in it so definitely part of my five a day ;)

Been busy today making another batch of Turkish delight as a gift for a friend and up to now it's looking ok . Might get a pic up when it's boxed up and looking pretty !

 Not feeling up to much at all to be honest but just started on Iron tablets so hoping that will give me some get up and go... I really need to make a start on my Easter cards cos I am back to work on Wednesday and not sure how I will feel after that

Nigel is going for a knee replacement on Thursday , not the best of timing as it leaves me without transport, not sure I am ready for the bus yet :(

Found my blogger ! Might have to spend some time updating my blogs, I seem to have them all over the place:) They all served different purposes at different times, I had a personal blog , this one for sharing craftiness ( sorry I forgot ) and then web building site which is now deceased and a website for selling cards. My craftiness is expanding, I still like card making the best, I crochet in parts ie I start stuff but never finish them...a bit like a man with DIY. Now I have started Jewellery making and fancy my chances with sweetie making, not good when you are trying to lose weight :/
